He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hugh Maguire and Patricia Maguire (McMahon); his significant other Betty Gordon; his daughter Michelle Welch (Ryan) of Jay; his grandchildren, Leah and Mikayla; his daughter Aisling Doucette (Kirk) of Milford; his grandchildren, Mindy and Mason; his son Jonathan of Waldoboro; his grandson Gabriel; his son Eoghan of Waco, TX.; and his siblings, Paul, Martin, Hugo, Colm, Brid and Rita. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
