He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cushman and Thelma Cushman (Chandler); his son Shawn Cushman; his siblings, Raymond Cushman Jr., Mary Cushman, Leon Cushman (Sonny), Agatha Stevens, Leona Stevens, Thelma Keene, Clothild Reed, Louisa LaPlante, Leo Stevans Jr. and Silas Stevens; and his friend Ron Smith.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, D. J. Dubay of Vienna, Ella Cole (Larry) of Winthrop and Sherry (Rick) of Mattawankeag; his granddaughter Addie Dubay; his son Kevin Cushman (Kelly Byras) of Wilton; his grandson Tyler Cushman (Aurora); his great grandchild Finn of Millinocket; his daughter Tanya Bradeen Duncan (James Wilson) of Farmington; his granddaughters, Mikayla Lisherness of Kingfield and Jamie Cushman of Farmington; and his siblings, Rose Tilton, Willis Cushman of Canton and Olive Couture (Gary) of Jay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
