He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pepin and Margaret Pepin (McNamara); his siblings, Louise Veilleux (Martin), Yvette Morrissette (Wilfred), Beatrice Gilbert (Henry), Leo Pepin and Fernand Pepin; and his brother-in-law Rene Patenaude.

He is survived by: his wife Bernadette M. Pepin (Lacasse) of Augusta; his children, Richard E. Pepin of Augusta, James Pepin (Heidi) of Sidney, Jeanne Giroux of Blue Hill and Anne Pepin of Auburn; his siblings, Raymond Pepin of Augusta and Madeline Patenaude of Augusta; and his grandchildren, Jamie Pepin of Providence, RI and Joseph Pepin of Augusta.
