She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Sullivan and Marion Sullivan (Wall); her husband Fran Downey; her son Chip Downey; and her siblings, John Sullivan and Jean Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Downey (Laurie) of Portland, Brenda Downey of Yarmouth, Susan Flynn of Falmouth, Jake Downey (Lisa) of Cumberland, Louisa Routh of Yarmouth and Teddy Downey (Maggie) of Falmouth; her sisters, Marion Lucy (Paul) of York and Ellen McNamara of Islesboro, Maine; her sisters-in-law, Anne Sullivan of Wellesley, Mass. and Maureen Bourke of Marshfield Hills, Mass.; her grandchildren, Francis III, John, Alicia, Daniel Jr., Caton, Maddy, Carly, Kiely, Emma, Grace, Caroline, Dudley, Kelly and Delaney; and her great grandchildren, Daniel III, Amelia, Piper and Brooks. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home (199 Woodford St, Portland, ME 04103). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Martyrs Church (266 Foreside Rd, Falmouth, ME 04105).
