It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Shapiro Rn (Fairfield, Maine), born in Fulton, Illinois, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Macy James and Frieda Lockhart (Friede); her son Michael D. Shapiro; and her brother David Lockhart. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Ivan L. Shapiro; her daughter Audrey E. Shapiro of Fort Fairfield; her grandchildren, Kyle A. McCullough (Brittany Page) of Presque Isle and Karter M. O'Clair of Fort Fairfield; her brother Bob Lockhart of Ohio; and her great grandchild Harrison D. McCullough of Presque Isle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
