Mark Michaud wrote a sympathy message

“Mr. Cooper, you influenced so many people in your years, sculpting young minds by building confidence, teaching principles and sportsmanship, and so much more. The world was a much better place because of you. To Kevin, Kim, and the rest of the family. My sincere condolences for your loss. No matter the years that pass and how our lives change, it is so hard to say goodbye to our parents. But I firmly believe it isn’t goodbye, and that you will all be reunited in Heaven someday.”
