He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clair S. Carter and Ruth Carter (Lyons); his wife Ann Carter (Gould) of Etna; his children, Clay (Michelle) of Winthrop, Dustin of Etna and Dawn (Jeffrey) of Hampden; and his siblings, Joan (Charlie Henderson) of Etna, Patricia Pearl of Palmyra, Linda (Mike Guidi) of Gorham and Ronald. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren.
