He is survived by: his wife Penelope Protzman (Tripler); his children, William (Theresa) of Canal Fulton, OH, Elaine, Eric of Silver Spring, MD and Richard (Patricia) of Ranson, WV; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Mary, Lauren, Sarah, Emily, Brooke and Margaret. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
