Virginia Harkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 90, Virginia Harkins (Ellsworth, Maine) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Sr. Wakefield and Annie Wakefield (Braley); her husband Arnold; her son David; and her siblings, Benny, Nick and Theodora.
She is survived by: her son Richard "Dickie" Harkins of Mount Desert Island; her granddaughter Tina Brown (Steed) of Georgia; her great grandchildren, Maddie, Shelby, Sydney and Mason; her great great grandchildren, Adalyn, Cooper, Levi, Hayden and Henry; and her sisters, Dorothy Miller and Catherine Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ginny shared her passion for crochet with family and friends, generously donating handmade items for children each winter.
