She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold E. Carlisle and Theresa A. Carlisle (Cook); her children, Mary T. White of Surry and John A. Beal of Lamoine; her brothers, Arden "Tuffy" Carlisle of Surry and Richard E. Carlisle of Ellsworth; her granddaughters, Stephanie T. White of Ellsworth and Katie A. Slyter of Greenwood Indiana; her husband Harold Nelson; her son-in-law Stephen T. White; and her close friend Harris McLean. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
