We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2023, Ruth M. (Sperrey) McLaughlin (Ellsworth, Maine), born in Perham, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clifford G. and Mary E. Sperrey (Bennett); her husband Gilbert McLaughlin; her children, April Smith (Robert) of Clay, NY and Lonzo McLaughlin (Kelly) of Landenberg, PA; her grandchildren, Abigail, Kyle McLaughlin of Landenberg, PA, Megan Smith of Clay, NY and Mackenzie Smith of Tuscaloosa, AL; her siblings, Alice Tarbox (Marvin) of Washburn and Lyman Sperrey of Perham; and her stepsiblings, Linda Gooch, Marsha Droese (Robert), Basil Ward (Demaris) and Dorothy McCabe (Joe). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
