She was predeceased by: her uncle Reggie Sherman; and her aunt Lee Clark Allen. She is survived by: her parents, Michael Sherman and Roxanne Sherman (Allen); her husband Jason McFarland; her sister Laura Sherman; her siblings-in-law, Matt McFarland (Vicki), Vanessa (John Bryan), April (Kyle Masse), Pamela (Joseph Aguilar), Rebecca (Tim Lewis), Rachel (Josh Van Trump) and Charity McFarland; her uncle Neil Allen; her aunts, Lauren Allen, Nancy Sherman, Deborah Sherman and Heidi Goode (George Ouellette); her parents-in-law, Stephen and Carly McFarland (Jones); her friend Erin Allen; and also, Donald and Eleanor McFarland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, she asks that you do a random act of kindness in her honor: shovel someone's steps, pay for someone's coffee, hug someone having a rough day.
