He is survived by: his wife Karen Beal; his son Benjamin (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Sophia Kate, Joseph Lloyd and Charlotte Grace; his daughter Kate (Adam Nickerson) of Ellsworth; his cousins, Thelma "Mabel" Beal of Ellsworth, Richard Beal of Cranberry Isle and Rick Smith; and his nephew Gregory Beal of Florida.
