We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Linwood Sherman Leighton (Ellsworth, Maine), born in Bass Harbor, Maine. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Newell "Everett" Leighton and Juanita Leighton; his wife Irene Leighton; and his brother Randy. He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Phyllis) and David (Patty); his grandchildren, Valerie, Heather, Travis, Katie and Kasey; his great grandchildren, Paige, Autumn and Aspen; and his brother-in-law Jerry Hill (Margaret). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Woody's memory to either the Southwest Harbor Ambulance Service, PO Box 437 Southwest Harbor, ME 04679 or the Northern New England Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
