She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kern Foss and Marion Reed Foss; her sister Joanie; her cousins, Mary Maddocks, Dougie Skofield and Donnie Smith; her former husband Ernie Messer; her daughter Karen; her siblings, Robert Foss (Marilyn) of Madison, Wisc. and Joan Decato (Herb) of McMurray, Penn.; her children, Jill Abbott of Bucksport and Mark Messer of Ellsworth; and her grandchildren, Emily Sikorski (Tony) of Moon Township, Justin Carter of Flemington, N. J., Brandy Abbott of Orland, Tiffany Abbott (Christopher Wood) of Hancock and Sarah Abbott (Logan Reynolds) of Bucksport. She was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren; countless cousins; nieces; and nephews.
