He was predeceased by: his wife Marguerite A. Fox; and his siblings, Alice Hanscom, Mary Kelley and Dana. He is survived by: his children, John H. Fox III and Carol Sheehan of Bucksport; his grandchildren, Shasta Philpot (Jed), John H. Fox IV and Brian Sheehan (Ashley); his great grandchild Maeve Philpot; his sister Sylvia Moon; his cousin Richard Hardison; and his close friend Richard Carlisle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
