He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Higgins and Jennie Higgins (Tupper); his wife Margaret; his children, Joan Higgins of Ellsworth and Mark Higgins (Allyson Sorenson) of Bangor; his grandchildren, Rebecca Prefontaine (Jessica), Jennifer Guildford (Dave Gow), Travis Higgins (Kyffin Dolliver), Jared Brown, Corey Brown, Danielle Carter, Hallee Sorenson, Madeline Tuite and Jessica Higgins; his great grandchildren, Carlos, Aaliyah, Levi Prefontaine and Abel Higgins; and his close friends, Robert Ness and Robert Anderson.
