It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Weed (Ellsworth, Maine), born in Calais, Maine, who passed away on November 18, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Betty L. Tuell, Doris Knowlton and Loleta McKee. She is survived by: her parents, Ralph Lorenzo and Ceciel Bernice Scott (Sprague); her husband Cal Weed of Ellsworth; her children, Karen A. Linehan (James) of Bangor, Sue Ellen Parkes (Robert) of New London, NH, Terri L. Cormier (Patrick) of Ellsworth and Steven R. Weed (Cherie) of Seal Harbor; her grandchildren, Flynn Linehan, Anna Linehan, Conor Linehan, Avery Parkes, Talia Parkes, Aislinn Parkes, Benjamin Weed and Elizabeth "Grace" Weed; her great grandchild Leslie "Ziggy" Marley; her brothers, Roy Scott and Fernald Scott (Gail); and her friends, Marilyn Blethen, Delores Hanson and Patty Hall Gibson.
