She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Johnson and Pauline Johnson (Alexander); her husband William Jessie Long (Jess); and her sisters, Mary Lou Gouge, Sue Taylor and Nancy Hirshey.
She is survived by: her brother Donald Johnson; her sister-in-law Dorcelene Long; her grandchildren, Geoffrey Haynes (Chelsea), Dylan Long (Lauren), Zane Long and Basil Preteroti; her stepgrandson Craig Thompson (Charla Patterson); and her great grandchildren, Karson, Lyla and Myah Haynes. She is also survived by nine step-great grandchildren and three step-great great grandchildren.
