She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred J. Melanson and Harriet Melanson (Coolidge); her husband Lieutenant Colonel David B. Kidder; her siblings, Barbara J. Cable, Sally A. Thompson, Fred Melanson, Jr. and Peter Melanson; her former husband John B. Golter, Jr. (Jack); and her daughter-in-law Debbie Golter.
She is survived by: her children, John T. Golter (Linda) of Stratham, N. H., James E. Golter (Barbara) of Kittery, Joseph E. Golter (Mary Prescott Pagucci) of Greenland and Sharon R. Fagan (John) of Eliot, Maine; her sister Sandra Gauthier; and her grandchildren, Diana Bernard, Michele D'Amario, Sueanne Baddour, Erica Golter, Kathryn Fagan, Julia Fagan, Kristen O'Neill Guimaraes, Matthew Golter and Brian O'Neill. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
