With solemn reverence, we commemorate Catherine Helen Gately of Edgecomb, Maine, born in Maynard, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on July 5, 2024 at the age of 73, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Gately and Helen Gately; and her cousin Joan. She is survived by: her wife Patricia Handloss; her stepsons, Edward (Maria) of Norway, Peter Stern (Megan) of St Louis and David Handloss-Stern of Manhattan; her grandson Gabriel Stern of St Louis; her brothers, James and Robert Gately; her sister-in-law Donna Gately; and her cousin Cathy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cathy's memory to The Alzheimer's Association or The Charles River School, Dover, MA 02030.
