It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Reid Howard McLaughlin of Eddington, Maine, born in Limestone, Maine, who passed away on September 14, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. McLaughlin and Beulah McLaughlin (Curry); his wife Lorraine; and his siblings, Lloyd (Nancy), Camilla Lee (Nelson Roix) and Nathalie Ann.
He is survived by: his son G. Reid of Holden; his grandchildren, Emily (Matt Logan), Reid Porter (Dominque), Katie (Tim Corey) and Mikayla; his children, Richard of Eliot and Laura (Richard Adams) of Eddington; his grandchildren, Rick (Anna), Amy (Josh Kane) and Ryan (Courtney Briggs); his son Rodney (Vicki) of Levant; his grandchildren, Matt and Lauren (Murphy Bradley); his siblings-in-law, Faye Phair and Cyrus Morris; and also Cynthia Porter McLaughlin.
