Hilda L. Stevens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda L. Stevens (Eastport, Maine), who passed away on October 28, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Ford Matthews and Elsie Matthews (Besse); her siblings, Loring, James Stanhope, Richard Matthews, Helen Small and Kathleen Stevens; and her nieces, Julie McPhail, Jelaine "Fred" Ritchie and Janice McPhail.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Cates of Pleasant Point, Donald Stevens of Somersworth, NH, Wanda Jordan (Leroy) of Hancock, Beth Rome (Nick) of Hancock and Shauna Neptune (Shawn Cushing) of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Merlin Cates (Kristen) of Kennebunk, Justin Stanhope (Emily) of Ellsworth, Tashina Hersi of Pleasant Point, Madison Rome of Hancock, Mikayla Rome of Hancock, Olivia Stevens of Somersworth, NH and Landon Cushing of Pembroke; her great grandchildren, Amaya Hersi, Camden Cates, Colby Stanhope and Bretton Cates; her sister-in-law Rebecca Stanhope; her sons, Garry Johns and Mike Stevens; and her niece Sheila Small. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
