It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Ward (Eastport, Maine), born in Baileyville, Maine, who passed away on March 23, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Southard and Lida Southard (Smith); her husband Paul Ward Sr.; her son Paul Ward Jr.; her grandson Clint Brown; and her siblings, Evelyn Libby, Deanie Hurd, Lida Cooper, Ollie McConaghy, Edward Southard Jr. and Donald Southard.
She is survived by: her children, Bert Ward (Anna) of Princeton and Gayle Barschdorf (Walter) of Pownal; her grandchildren, Billie Jo Jack (Paul) of Nakawic, NB, Kadance Ward of Princeton, Jason Barschdorf (Danielle) of Yarmouth, Jennifer Barschdorf (Brian Purdy) of Buxton, Jill Ray (Seoras) of Gorham and Jayme Barschdorf of Pownal; her great grandchildren, Brianna, Eliza, Maia, Quinn, Paul, Madalynn, Eoighan and Fiona; her sister Luella Perkins; her sister-in-law Edna Southard of Calais; and her friend Penny Braley of Princeton.
