He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Stevens and Beatrice Stevens (Lyons); his wife Sandra Stevens; his son Elmer "Buddy" Stevens III; and his brother Jerry Lyons.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Dow (Stephen) of Calais, Timothy Stevens (Sharron) of Vestavia Hills, AL, Gregory Stevens (Shelen) of Weston, OH and Rhonda Stevens of Eastport; his grandchildren, Stephanie Briggs (Nathan) of West Bath, Brandon, Abigail Stevens of Detroit, Shayne Stevens of Weston, OH and Ethan Stevens of Eastport; his great grandchildren, Evan and Alex Briggs; and his brother Donald Stevens of Waterboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
