He is survived by: his close friend Sarah Lennon of Eastport; his children, Douglas Leighton, Jr. of Pleasant Point and Kelli Leighton of Pleasant Point; his grandchildren, Sloan, Ty, Chance, Jaylen, Andee, Paige, Gavyn, Autumn and Mohamed; his great grandchild Eowyn; and his siblings, Maryann Holbrook of Ohio, Charles McDevitt (Hope) of Ohio, Sally Yount (Jerome) of Ohio, John McDevitt (Christine) of Ohio and Stacey Parmer (Joe) of Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
