She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Merritt; her parents, Wilfred LeClair and Alphonsine LeClair (Breton); her daughters, Nancy Violette and Kathy Merritt; her granddaughter Erin Gordon; her siblings, Roland LeClair, Florence Eneff, Carmine Lyons, Rita Pelcher and Priscilla Nichols; and her sister-in-law Lula Lakeman.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sarah Brown (Aaron), Lauren Burdett (John), Nathan Violette and Abby Violette; her sons-in-law, Danny Violette and Timothy Gordon; and her great grandchildren, Monroe Brown, Nash Brown, Madyson Brown, Mallory Brown, Gage Brown and Cora Burdett. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
