It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Galen York (East Millinocket, Maine), born in Medway, Maine, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaughn Lewis York and Vivian Althea York (McLaughlin); and his parents-in-law, Janet and Vincent Rush. He is survived by: his wife Lori York (Rush); his daughters, Stephanie York and Brenda Michaud (York); his son-in-law Bruce Michaud; his children, Karen Perro, Sherry Perro (Randy), Dan Perro (Terry), Chris Perro and Christina Irish; and his friend Phoenix. He is also survived by five stepchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Tri-Town Baptist Church (119 Main St, East Millinocket, ME 04430). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
