He is survived by: his wife Jodi Kakalis; his son Chris Kakalis (Jamie Morton) of Durham; his siblings, Jim Bean (Trena), Dean Murray (Lynn), Cleon Mains and Pam Kakalis of Georgetown; his grandchildren, April Kakalis of Virginia and Gage Kakalis of Cumberland; and his great grandchildren, James Poljacik of Virginia and Evelyn Kakalis of Virginia.
