He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Germaine Gayton and Edward Gayton; his son Alex (Krista) of Durham; his wife Nancy; his children, Katie Ballou (Jake) of Durham, Sabrina, Kamryn, Annie, Abby, Eddie and Johnny; his grandchildren, Isaac of Durham, Noah of Durham, Gabriel of Durham, Margaret of Durham, Elizabeth of Durham, Gage of Durham and Fiona of Durham; and his sisters, Sandra (Roger Belanger), Linda (Gary Gamrat) and Doris Burke of Florida.
