She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence C. Bates and Mildred C. Bates (Carle); her granddaughters, Vanna McEwen and Liticia McEwen; and her siblings, Keith Bates, Rodney Bates and Bonnie Breingan.
She is survived by: her children, Vincent McEwen Jr. (Raquel) of Dover-Foxcroft, Kevin McEwen (Donna) of Charleston, Sheila Larry (Patricia Pool) of Bonifay, Dean McEwen of Atkinson, Gordon Larry (Jennie) of Atkinson and Austin McEwen (Mindy) of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Garrett McEwen, Tiffani Lynn Howe, Vanessa McEwen, Beth McEwen, Sheila McEwen, Justin Larry and Alison Larry; her great grandchildren, Logan, Kaylee, Abigail, Jonah, Layton, Henry, Aleah, Connor, Mattie, Riley, Natalee, Angel, Blake, Olivia, Joy, Michael and Lucy; and her siblings, Laurence Bates (Beverly) of Dexter, Gary Bates (Maureen) of Palm Bay, Florida, Margaret McKenney of Dexter, Eleanor Pratt of Brooksville and Beverly "Tweet" Potter of Brooksville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
