She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph "Leo" La Pointe and Leona La Pointe (Goudreau); her husband Harold; her siblings, Evangeline Burnett and Larry; her daughter Angela; and her granddaughter Jennifer.
She is survived by: her sister Eileen Perkins; her children, Alan (Deborah Smith), Holly Smith, Linda (Scott Mountford) and Cherie Smith; her grandchildren, Suzanne, David McElvain, Samantha, Jason Greenlaw, Garrett Smith, Taylor Dow and Andrea Mountford; and her great grandchildren, Catherine McElvain, David McElvain II, Lucas Greenlaw, Emily Greenlaw, Ella Smith and Lylla Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
