He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Chase and Flora Chase (Trask); his siblings, Cecil Chase, Henry Chase Jr., Florence Libby, Pauline Norwood, Joyce Leavitt and Robert Chase; and his fathers-in-law, Phil Beede, Harold and John.
He is survived by: his wife Roxanne Gilbert Chase; his children, Peter Chase (Roxanne), Harold "Skip" Chase, Jr. (Susan), Kimberly Cavanagh, Angela Ayala (Luis) and Karl Stutzman; his grandchildren, Joshua Chase (Chrissie), Lindsay Chase, Isaac Chase (Abrionna), Samuel Chase (Taylor), Timothy Chase, Antonio Ayala, Enrico Ayala, Noah Cavanagh, Natalie Cavanagh, Bree Stutzman, Olivia Stutzman and Natalie Stutzman; his great grandchildren, Abel, Finley, Birdie, Walker, Maren, Maddox and Quinn Chase; his siblings, Elizabeth Stevens and Terry Chase (Mary Lou); his close friends, Mike, Jane McDonald, Herb, Edi Hutchinson, Greg, Melanie Nichols, Terry, Cindy Whittemore, Archie, Valerie Curry and Joe Bubar; and his grandsons, Tino and Rico Ayala. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
