He was predeceased by: his parents, John Danforth and Eleanor Danforth (Cleaves); his granddaughter Ella Dulac; and his brothers, Steven Danforth, Dana Danforth and John Danforth.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Merrill; his daughters, Kristin Page (Orren) and Johanna Turner (Matt); his grandchildren, Adam Dulac, Alex Dulac, Aidan Dulac, Eliza Chambers (Brandon), Molly Lyford, Abigail Greenfield and Rebecca Greenfield; his great grandchild Nathaniel Chambers; his sisters, Susan Underwood (Don) and Deborah Danforth-Dest (Paul); and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Danforth, Judy Danforth, Debbie Lander (Scott), Ellen Anderson, Charles Merrill (Jane), Gerald Merrill (Joan) and Jeff Merrill (Nora). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
