He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Hobbs and Thelma Hobbs (Jenkins); his wife JoAnne; his brother Arthur Hobbs; and his grandchildren, Lenny Bissonnette and Rachel Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Hobbs of Dover-Foxcroft, Joyce Patterson (Bill) of Dexter, Pamela Bissonnette (George) of Shelburne, VT, Deborah Donovan (Kevin) of St. Petersburg, FL, Edward Hobbs of Parkman, Andrew Hobbs (Susan) of St. Petersburg, FL and Kenneth Hobbs (Stephanie) of Clearwater, FL.; and his brother Richard Hobbs. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
