We bid farewell to Donnamarie C. Highers in Dover Foxcroft, Maine, born in Torrington, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 3, 2025. Donnamarie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Donnamarie has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Al Highers; and her parents, Adrienne Saucier (Alfred Saucier) and Alfred Saucier (Adrienne Saucier). She is survived by: her daughters, Tori Smith and Misty Rowe; her niece Tanya Ward; her close friends, Tom and Melanie Stanley of Lagrange, ME; and her pets, Burrito and Buster (Big Boy). She is also survived by her daughter; grandchildren, a niece and nephew.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, we will be collecting donations for the rescue she so loved and fostered for, "Underhound Rail Road Rescue".
