He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Grant and Della Grant (Lent); his wife Edith; and his siblings, Elsie, Pearl, Dorothy, Helen, Mary Alice, Gloria, Norma, Elwood, Guy and Dana.
He is survived by: his children, David Grant (Linda) of Dover-Foxcroft and Judy Grant; his grandchildren, Jonathan Grant of Dover-Foxcroft, Bill Dow of Waterboro, Caryl Dow of Wiscasset, Alyson Roberts of Canaan and Angela Dow of Waterville; and his stepgrandchildren, Nicole Ripley of Whitefield and Julie Sawyer of Waldoboro. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
