Alan W. Rush Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2025, at the age of 90, Alan W. Rush of Dover Foxcroft, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice E. Rush (White) and Elden Rush; his wife Ione; his sisters, Glenna Brown and Lois; his brother-in-law Roland Jordan; and his nephews, Stephen Green, Gary Jordan and Brian Jordan.
He is survived by: his sister Claire (Noel "Bo" Green) of Brunswick, GA; his children, Jerry Rush (Nancy) of Sangerville and Jill Koenig (Gary) of Gray; his grandchildren, Kielie (Dean Gray) of Hudson, Robert Koenig of Presque Isle and Joseph Koenig of Gray; his great grandchildren, Cassidy, Bronson and Sydney; his stepgrandchildren, Matt Richards and Alison (Chad Reed); and also, Owen and Maya. He is also survived by extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Lary Funeral Home-Dover (62 Summer St, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
