It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard William Benedix Sr. (Dixfield, Maine), born in Rumford, Maine, who passed away on September 14, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Henry Benedix Sr. and Katherine Benedix; his significant other Angie McPherson of Dixfield; his children, Natalie Putnam (Dana) of Peru, Nancy Milledge (Jamie) of Dixfield, Richard Benedix Jr. (Daphne) of Lewiston and Charles Benedix (Lisa) of Barnstead, NH.; his grandchildren, Craig, Amanda, Kassi, Lindsey, Alex, Riley, Jessica and Chelsea; his great grandchildren, Emerson, Whitaker, Kolis, Tanner Elsie, Eliot, Kash, Kennedy and Brody; and his siblings, Maddy Fournier of Lewiston, Gerry Cyr of Rockland, James Benedix, Edward Jr., George, Robert, Etta, Margaret and Irene.
