It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Taft (Dexter, Maine), born in Bangor, Maine, who passed away on August 28, 2019, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Woodard and Wanda Woodard (Sewall); and her stepfather Harlan Kirk. She is survived by: her children, Kristy Woodard of Dover-Foxcroft, Matthew Taft of Dexter, Starr of Dexter, Daniel of Dexter and Greg Tasker of Dexter; her sisters, Wendy Martin of Dexter, Peggy Woodard-Ryder of Carmel, Jimakea of Carmel, Cheyanne Woodard of Carmel and Georgie; her son Milford; her grandchildren, Cadence, Skyler, Mason Tasker, Kallie Stone, Taylor Michaud and Madison Taft; her significant other Mark Tasker of Dexter; and her friend Marc Taft of Corinna. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
