It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Bell Sr. of Dexter, Maine, born in Dover Foxcroft, Maine, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bell and Dorothy Bell; and his siblings, Robert Bell, Louise Dulac and Sally Brumm.
He is survived by: his wife Olivia Burgoyne; his sons, James Bell Jr. (Holly) and Stephen Bell (Lorrie); his grandchildren, Devyn Shorey (Andrew), Jordyn Marrone (Ryan), Kamden Bell, Jessica Bell, Jeremy Bell and Luanne Willey; his great grandchildren, Quinn Olivia Shorey and Millie James Marrone; and his sister Susan Russotti. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute, 33 Whiting Hill Road, Brewer, Maine 04412, a cause close to his heart.
