He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Cianchette Sr. and Dorothy M. Walker; his wife Greta; his son Joseph R Cianchette III; his siblings, Edward Cianchette Sr., Sally Dwinell, Carolyn "Kay" Monroe and Maxine "Mickey" House; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Cianchette and Emily Cianchette.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Cianchette (Dan Kolbert), James Cianchette, Christopher Cianchette (Valerie), Michael Cianchette (Anne Goodblood), Patricia Skirnick (Steven) and Amy Donaghy (Sean). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
