He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernal Salley and Vivian Salley; his son David Ring; and his brother John Ring. He is survived by: his wife Lori Ring of Detroit; his children, Ellen Ames (Michael) of Pittsfield, Karen Ladd (Thayne McDonald) of Unity, Tyler Ring (Shannon) of Pittsfield and Brandon Ring (Carolyn); his sister Dorothy Brackett; his mother-in-law Valerie Varney; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Bickford, Scott Varney (Rochelle) and Madalyn Ring. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
