He is survived by: his children, Jennilee Shannon (Charles Woodard) of Detroit, Dennis Shannon Jr. of Waterville, Michael Shannon (Samantha Chase) of Burnham and Scott Tilton (Becca Bendure) of Old Town; his grandchildren, Kiana Lyn Sheltra, Carl Tilton, Carter Shannon, Madeline Farrington and Alison Shannon; his siblings, Ronnie Shannon (Maria), Jeff Shannon, Kathy Shannon, Penny Whittaker and Glen Whittaker; his niece Ashley Ponziani; his great-nephew Jackson; and his great-niece Lilly. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
