He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Keresztessy and Pauline Keresztessy (Dolinger); his wife Arleen Keresztessy (Eibel); his son William; and his brothers, John, Frank and George.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia (Brewer), John, Frederick (Tracy) and Frank; his sister Dolly Weinfurt of Florida; his grandchildren, Ashley Moran, Sarah Anderer (Brian), Emily Brewer, Thomas Brewer, Brooke Keresztessy and Faith Keresztessy; and his great grandchildren, Oliver and Owen. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wood Funeral Home (9 Warren St, Fryeburg, ME 04037).
