She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Boone of Davidson and Shirley Haskell; and her cousin Don Boone. She is survived by: her husband Melvin J. Hardy; her son Richard Hardy (Brenda); her granddaughter Taylor C. Hardy; her brother John Carville (Ellen); her niece Emily Carville; her cousins, Darlene Qualey (Boone) and Dennis Boone; her sister Mary Ruth Billings McVicar; and her daughter Nora Seaholtz of Ellsworth. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
