She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Carter and Lottie Carter; her former husband Berland Nevels; her husband Donald Davis; her son Harland Nevells Sr.; and her siblings, Mildred Emerton, Mina Gray and Albert Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Nevells of Bangor, Delwyn Nevells of Deer Isle and Cindy Lash of Stonington; and her sisters, Evelyn Hardie, Rachel Munson and Rebecca Tainter. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
