She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Overlock and Rachel Overlock (Libby); her husband Robert W. Ames; her daughter Faye Granims; her son-in-law Johnny Granims; and her siblings, Leland Overlock, Marion Grover, Charlotte Stambaugh and Neil Overlock.
She is survived by: her children, Neil Ames (Donna), Jacquelyn Hyde, Marie Sprague (John) and Patricia Burns (Jonathan); her stepchildren, Alan and Louise; and her grandchildren, Alan Ames, Barbara Phillips, Charlene Ames, Kevin Ames, Aaron Ames, Richard Staples, Shawn Hyde, Larry Hyde, Michael Granims, Brian Granims, Neil Granims, Christopher Sprague, April Sprague-Smith, Elisha Sprague, Rachel Vogelpohl and Erica Burns. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home of Thomaston (78 Main St, Thomaston, ME 04861). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
