It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Day (Cornish, Maine), born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Russell, Jesse Mitchell and Louise Taylor; her husband Norman Bleakney (Kenneth C. Day) of Needham Massachusetts; her daughter Janet Johnson; and her daughter-in-law Judith Bleakney.
She is survived by: her sons, Norman and Russell (Libby); her son-in-law Lynn Johnson (Marie); her grandchildren, Karen (Arthur Lidral), Sharon (Ryan Martin), Susan (Robert Shwartz), Jennifer (Jason Kimball), Johanna (Dan Chapman) and John Bleakney; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Jane Kimball, Paige Chapman, Cameron, Noah Martin, Michael and Ashley Shwartz.
