As we bid Ernest farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ernest is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parent Alice Kiley (Loring); and his sisters, Josephine Lashua and Mary Reed. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kiley (Hanscome); his children, Samantha Kiley of Lovell and Jeremy Kiley of Fryeburg; and his siblings, William Kiley, Estelle Mooney, Patricia Hussey, Betty Graffam, Robert Kiley and George Kiley. He is also survived by several grandchildren; and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home (71 Maple St, Cornish, ME 04020). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Waterboro Lions Club (813d Main St, Waterboro, ME 04087).
